Better World Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, focusing on educating young students about environmental sustainability and responsible waste practices.
India generates over three million tons of plastic waste annually, a significant portion of which remains either uncollected or improperly managed. This mismanagement has far-reaching consequences, including pollution of water bodies, harm to biodiversity, and increased contribution to climate change. While urban populations are gradually becoming more aware of these challenges, a substantial knowledge and behavior gap persists among youth in underserved and rural communities.
Recognizing this gap, the initiative targeted students between the ages of 12 and 16—a critical stage in their developmental journey.
