Shweta Jain is a civil engineer and entrepreneur whose professional journey reflects the intersection of technical expertise, international exposure and purpose-driven leadership. What began with an opportunity at the Norway Embassy compound in New Delhi in 2016 evolved into a career spanning construction, renovation, interiors, project management and specialised infrastructure, ultimately leading to the establishment of Aficiones Elite Constructions Pvt. Ltd.
Her early association with the Norway Embassy proved to be a defining professional experience. Working within a diplomatic environment introduced her to a level of precision, accountability and discretion that extended beyond conventional construction practices. She learned that successful project execution depends not only on technical competence but also on trust, communication and meticulous attention to detail. The experience became the foundation for a career increasingly connected with international institutions and clients.
Over the years, she expanded her professional engagement across the diplomatic community, working with and around international missions representing countries including Norway, Canada, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Denmark, Luxembourg, Italy, Greece, Mauritius and Germany, alongside Indian clients. Her experience across diverse projects enabled her to develop a comprehensive understanding of construction and project management while working within environments influenced by international standards and demanding quality expectations.
This experience eventually culminated in the creation of Aficiones Elite Constructions Pvt. Ltd., a New Delhi-based enterprise founded with an ambition extending beyond conventional construction services. Under her vision, the company brings together engineering, design, execution and project management while exploring opportunities for international collaboration. Her objective is to create a professional ecosystem where technical capability and creative thinking can work together to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Her entrepreneurial journey, however, has involved challenges as well as achievements. Financial pressures, complex projects, difficult decisions and periods of uncertainty have tested her resilience. Rather than viewing these experiences solely as obstacles, she considers them valuable lessons that have strengthened her decision-making abilities and professional outlook.
Her leadership philosophy is deeply influenced by the values with which she was raised. Coming from a Jain family, she grew up with an emphasis on integrity, self-discipline, responsibility, restraint and respect for others. These principles continue to influence her approach to business, relationships and professional commitments. She also draws inspiration from the works of Robert Greene, particularly his observations on strategy and human behaviour, while Rudyard Kipling’s If— resonates with her belief in remaining composed during adversity.
Family remains another important source of strength. She acknowledges the role of her father, Mr. Rakesh Jain, and mother, Mrs. Pratibha Jain, in shaping her discipline, independence and perseverance. Her sister, Roopal Jain, has remained an important part of her personal journey, while her husband and longtime friend, Prateek Dighe, has witnessed the realities of entrepreneurship closely.
She also places considerable value on professional relationships, recognising the contributions of clients, colleagues, mentors, contractors and consultants who have supported her journey.
